The 4th of December marks the start of the Affluence Black Polo event with a backdrop of pure elegance. A combination of fashion aficionados, captains of industries, and high valued clients was amongst the guest list to experience intimate luxury. On arrival, distinguished guests were chauffeured to the Manor House, by the German luxury car manufacturer BMW, in style and grandeur. French Champagne leader Veuve Clicquot was the leading alcohol brand of the day followed by distilled craftsmanship of the deep and smokey Cognac by Hennessy.
Business mogul and international speaker Johanna Mukoki was the Master of Ceremony on the day to reiterate the power of collaboration in this current age. Strategic partners like Vodacom, whom is a leading and purpose-led African connectivity, digital and financial services company, partners with mobile giant Samsung to display the super app, Vodapay and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip…….
The Polo Association led under Lionel Foster arranged each aspect of the fast-paced version of Polo, while incorporating various levels of competitive strengths. Teams battled it out from developing teams to highly skilled players to get to the grand finale.
Mumbai Meals handled all Asian and Indian-inspired cuisines, while Private Chef, Chef Scott carefully infused South African flavors with a French twist to his menu of choice. International artist and Idol finalist Tebogo Louw serenaded the crowd, as Fashion Diva, Street and Haute Couture designer Karen Monk Klijnstra took to the runway with her Vintage-inspired look.
Décor and styling were handled in-house, while touches of Veuve Clicquot were felt throughout the venue. Topiary ETC created some of the most picturesque displays that were inspired by their passion for Italian and French gardens. This marks the start of Affluence Black Polo KZN.
